A wooden beehive surrounded by wildflowers in a sunny meadow

From our hives
to your home

Every jar of Hillcrest Honey begins in a wildflower meadow just a few miles from where you live. Our bees forage freely across clover fields, apple orchards, and native wildflowers — producing a honey that is as unique as the season it comes from.

We harvest only once the hive is ready, never rushing the process. Our honey is extracted cold, lightly strained, and bottled by hand — preserving every enzyme, pollen grain, and natural flavour that makes raw honey so special.

Why choose
local honey?

  • Supports local ecosystems

Local beekeepers maintain healthy bee populations that pollinate your community's crops and wildflowers.

  • Richer, more complex flavour

Local honey reflects the unique flora of its region — no two batches taste exactly alike.

  • No long supply chains

From hive to jar in days, not months. No blending, no importing, no compromises.

  • You know exactly where it's from

We can tell you the meadow, the season, and the beekeeper behind every single jar.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "raw" honey mean?

Raw honey is honey that has not been heated above hive temperature (around 95°F / 35°C). Heating destroys natural enzymes, antioxidants, and pollen. Our honey is extracted cold and never pasteurised, so it retains all its natural goodness.

Why has my honey crystallised?

Crystallisation is a completely natural process and a sign of pure, raw honey. It does not mean the honey has gone bad. To re-liquefy, place the jar in warm water (not boiling) for a few minutes and stir gently.

How long does honey last?

Honey has an almost indefinite shelf life when stored correctly. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and always use a clean, dry spoon. Avoid introducing moisture into the jar.

Do you ship outside the local area?

Currently we ship within [YOUR STATE/REGION]. We offer free local delivery for orders over $30. For shipping enquiries, please reach out via the contact form below.

Is your honey suitable for children?

Raw honey should not be given to children under 12 months of age due to the risk of infant botulism. For children over 1 year and adults, raw honey is perfectly safe and delicious.

How does Stripe checkout work?
